that's pretty fast. heh.
but turns out to be pretty fatigued,

i wanna drown myself in bubble tea cos nothing else makes me happy anymore.

actually i didnt take any pictures of them cos some people simply refuse to take pictures.

dar took with me but he didnt like the way he looked in the photos. so..

finally had some eyeliner on before my eyeliner dries out.

maureen is so sad.
i've been trying to get into the mood of work.
i'm starting to miss bangkok.
i'm starting to miss holidays.
it's like ipp all over again just that it's permanent this time.

i'm so not into office jobs. sigh.
and i need to get used to not having dar by my side now.
he's been by my side all these while. be it sleep, eat, gaming or going out.
sigh. this is such a major milestone in my life.
i'm already missing him real deep after he sent me back home.
missing his occasional hugs.

this morning when i woke up beside him,
we stare into each other's eyes for a long time,
knowing we're going to miss each other very much when i start working
and that things are going to be so different.
and he started telling me,

dar, must take care okay,
drink plenty of water and eat proper meals.
must take care when i'm not around.

after which we hugged each other for a long time.


and then soon he'll get enrolled into the stupid army.
which a waste of a man's life.

sighhhhh. i wanna get married soon and see him everyday!

but he and his mother are giving me the hints to continue staying at their house cos his father works near dsta!

but imagine being in the car with his daddy every morning.

i'm going for my full time job at DSTA on monday.

so off from IT. lol.
if DSTA doesnt offer me scholarship, i'll take up these business courses in uni.

geez. my pay will take about 2 months to come.

BANGKOK TRIP DAY 1

reached changi airport at 5 am in the morning! i didnt sleep that night.
i was insanely caballing. and highly anticipating the trip!

we had a situation there.
initially we wanted to share a room for 4 people.
then me and gy will checked in with our names and the others will sneaked in after that.
however, the receptionist kindly told us,
make sure the room is only occupied by the most 3 people,
as there will be a penalty of doubling the price of the room if found out occupied by more than 3.

MY EYES GREW WIDE.
gy continued nodding his head.
i told him obviously we've been suspected of breaching the hotel's policy and they would confirmed check us out.
so after looking at the lovely comfy spacious oh-i-dont-feel-like-leave-this-room room,
and discussing for an excuse to to take up another room,
like, "oh our friends liked the room and decided to stay.."
and also discussed who should go down..

in the end we decided to become losers and laughed all the way down like some insane tourists,
and asked solemnly,

could we 4 share???????????

pleasee.. we are only students...

the receptionist, didn't decline upon looking at us losers.
she politely made a call to the manager,
and in the end, said it isnt possible.
so we got to open another room, me and dar sharing one uber king-sized bed at a special discount.
but we still got laughed at by the receptionists. losers. -.-

so we slept at the room and waited for them to get ready our new rooms.
as we requested side by side rooms.
and so all slept.
and so all continued to slept after the guy ringed our bell for a thousand years.
i did felt like smacked all their sleeping heads and pulled myself to open the door.
and thanked the man who handed me the new keys with the unusual mob on my head.

i screamed at them to wake and move to our new rooms.
and WOW WEEEEEE WOWWWW!!!

my grandfather's gone.
at 6 April 2008 21:22 hours. right before me.

my whole family cried our lungs out.

i knew something wasn't right since he pointed at seemingly nothing at the curtains in icu yesterday and trying to say something.
we gave him a pen and paper asking him what he was trying to say.
he wrote in scribbles,
and finally out of the scribbles here and there,
we saw this word.

DEATH. (in chinese)

i rushed to the hospital today after my elder cousin called to say gong had internal bleeding again and might not make it after tonight.

he asked for the date and time yesterday.
he kept looking at the clock today.
he scribbled the word "death" twice today.
and he still kept staring at the clock.

he refused to close his eyes even after the taking of the strong medicine.
when i met him today,
he couldnt talk or respond anymore.
and was breathing very heavily.

8 plus. my cousin ran out and shouted that gong's heartbeat is slowing.
i held my other cousin's friend, afraid.
running in, i prayed and prayed that everything will be fine.
but my hopes sunken when i saw the machine with faint straight lines with occasional bumps.

i broke down. everyone else did.
all my aunties called out for him, holding his hands, nudging him,
my grandma kept shouting,

"lao ban.. lao ban.." (old partner)
"he's not responding, finished liao lor..."

his heartbeat slowed to 0. up then down again, numerous times.
and finally settling down to 0. at 21:22. his face turned pale.

"rest in peace ba, rest in peace hor pa.."

my aunt cried.

then he's gone. and finally, he closed his eyes.

"why so fast.. no more gong gong already!..."

my grandma wailed.
with that, our eyes opened another tap of tears.

what touched me was my grandma and grandpa were match-maked,
yet they could love each other so deeply.

i was hoping grandpa would be the first to prove me wrong,
that whenever a person was pointing at something we cannot see,
means he was seeing someone who is going to take him away soon.

but with the words he wrote and him asking for the date and time made me even more frightened.
that he can't prove me wrong.


gong gong, rest in peace.
we will help you take care of popo.
i'm sorry i wasn't a filial grand-daughter.
i know it's too late for apologies.
but still, i'm sorry.

people only know how to treasure after a dear one left.
how true can this statement be.
i admit i didn't really take a good look at gong gong before he was admitted into the hospital.
still, it's all too late.

in the end, dreams are still the opposite of reality.
and did my nose bled today when gong was bleeding internally?
why didn't i get the sign?

grandpa is gravely ill.

tmr. tmr is the day. but i dreamt that he was ok.

am very happy with my shopping!

my shades was bargained from 250 baht to 140 baht!
less than SGD $7! they were my first buy!
clever darling! he's awesome in bargaining!
so happy to have brought him along. muahaha.

my shorts are worth less than SGD $7!
my belts were less than SGD $4!
am so pleased with my shopping =x
though i didnt spend any on tops lol.

i still have those images of holiday-ing away,
especially since i hardly go for one!
the airport, the plane, the hotel, the shopping, the gorging of food..
i secretly wished i still had a couple of days more!
i dont wish for it to end =(

not to mention,
my stool got blood after i returned from thailand!
lol, blame it on those tom yam soups i feasted on almost everyday for 4 days.
my stool was hardened x10
wasnt happily shitting nowadays :(
daddy asked me to see a doctor soon if it still occurs after a few days.

all in all i really enjoyed myself to the fullest!
especially since dar was there, we got even closer than before.

he was in ICU, whole body filled with tubes and tubes.

his life depending on the numerous machines around his bed.

monday. is the day. once the tubes are plucked out, be it him staying or leaving, heaven decides.

i do not know what to do. he was fine when i left for thailand.
