unluckiest day ever!

I withdrawed $200 at payar lebar mrt to take some stocks.
then unknowingly i didnt realise i DID NOT TAKE the damn money.
turns out in the end when i was at my supplier's did i realise i didnt take my money,
hence
me and baby got to run back in that heavy heavy rain to find if the $200 was still there (stupidly)
baby ran faster, to help me check,
he told me he wanted to go withdraw the money and give it to me telling he found it without telling me the truth.
aww, my dear boy :D
told him that's silly! but luckily there was a queue hence he didnt queued for it.
but thanks for the thought baby! really appreciate, deep deep!
=D
wait wait, before reaching the supplier's side,
my shoe goldie thingy came out and got lost.
stupid rain made me run. ruining my entire day =(

anyway,
i didnt lose the $200 la.
the money didnt come out of the machine after all,
after recalling the scenario.
i remembered i was there and being sad about the balance.
but nothing attracted me from the lever where the money was suppose to come out.
i made a report and dbs refunded the money tonight.
phew.
luckily i made the call. i almost wanted to give up.

and also that me and dear didnt caught a cold.
or i would have felt really bad.

so it's lucky day or unlucky day?
my shoe still spoil leh. no more flats. =(

went to raffles place to help dar's mum with some stuffs,

here's some stories i received in my email,
for casual reading, and especially if you are feeling down.
this stories may help (:

One day, when I was a freshman in high school, I saw a kid from my class was walking home from school.

His name was Kyle.

It looked like he was carrying all of his books.

I thought to myself, 'Why would anyone bring home all his books

On a Friday?

He must really be a nerd.'

I had quite a weekend planned (parties and a football game with my friend’s tomorrow afternoon), so I shrugged my shoulders and went on.

As I was walking, I saw a bunch of kids running toward him.

They ran at him, knocking all his books out of his arms and tripping him so he landed in the dirt.

His glasses went flying, and I saw them land in the grass about ten feet from him...

He looked up and I saw this terrible sadness in his eyes.

My heart went out to him. So, I jogged over to him as he crawled around looking for his glasses, and I saw a tear in his eye.

As I handed him his glasses, I said, 'Those guys are jerks.’

They really should get lives.

‘He looked at me and said, 'Hey thanks!'

There was a big smile on his face.

It was one of those smiles that showed real gratitude.

I helped him pick up his books, and asked him where he lived.

As it turned out, he lived near me, so I asked him why I had never seen him before..

He said he had gone to private school before now.

I would have never hung out with a private school kid before.

We talked all the way home, and I carried some of his books.

He turned out to be a pretty cool kid.

I asked him if he wanted to play a little football with my friends.

He said yes.

We hung out all weekend and the more I got to know Kyle, the more I liked him, and my friends thought the same of him.

Monday morning came, and there was Kyle with the huge stack of books again.

I stopped him and said, 'Boy, you are going to really build some serious muscles with this pile of books everyday!

'He just laughed and handed me half the books.

Over the next four years, Kyle and I became best friends...

When we were seniors we began to think about college.

Kyle decided on Georgetown and I was going to Duke.

I knew that we would always be friends, that the miles would never be a problem.

He was going to be a doctor and I was going for business on a football scholarship..

Kyle was valedictorian of our class.

I teased him all the time about being a nerd.

He had to prepare a speech for graduation.

I was so glad it wasn't me having to get up there and speak

Graduation day, I saw Kyle.

He looked great.

He was one of those guys that really found himself during high school.

He filled out and actually looked good in glasses.

He had more dates than I had and all the girls loved him.

Boy, sometimes I was jealous!

Today was one of those days.

I could see that he was nervous about his speech.

So, I smacked him on the back and said, 'Hey, big guy, you'll be great!'

He looked at me with one of those looks (the really grateful one) and smiled.

'Thanks,' he said.

As he started his speech, he cleared his throat, and began

'Graduation is a time to thank those who helped you make it through those tough years.

Your parents, your teachers, your siblings, maybe a coach...but mostly your friends....

I am here to tell all of you that being a friend to someone is the best gift you can give them.

I am going to tell you a story.'

I just looked at my friend with disbelief as he told the first day we met.

He had planned to kill himself over the weekend.

He talked of how he had cleaned out his locker so his Mom wouldn't have to do it later and was carrying his stuff home.

He looked hard at me and gave me a little smile.

'Thankfully, I was saved.

My friend saved me from doing the unspeakable...’

I heard the gasp go through the crowd as this handsome, popular boy told us all about his weakest moment.

I saw his Mom and dad looking at me and smiling that same grateful smile.

Not until that moment did I realize its depth.

Never underestimate the power of your actions...

With one small gesture you can change a person's life.

For better or for worse.

God puts us all in each other’s lives to impact one another in some way.

Look for God in others.

You now have two choices, you can:

1) Pass this on to your friends or

2) Delete it and act like it didn't touch your heart.

As you can see, I took choice number 1.

'Friends are angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly.'

There is no beginning or end.. Yesterday is history.

Tomorrow is a mystery.

Today is a gift.

here's another;
i like this one.

Can I Borrow $25?

A man came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year old son waiting for him at the door.

SON: 'Daddy, may I ask you a question?'

DAD: 'Yeah sure, what it is?' replied the man.

SON: 'Daddy, how much do you make an hour?'

DAD: 'That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?' the man said angrily.

SON: 'I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?'

DAD: 'If you must know, I make $50 an hour.'

SON: 'Oh,' the little boy replied, with his head down.

SON: 'Daddy, may I please borrow $25?'

The father was furious, 'If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I don't work hard everyday for such childish frivolities.'

The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.

The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?

After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down , and started to think:

Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $25.00 and he really didn't ask for money very often The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door.

'Are you asleep, son?' He asked.

'No daddy, I'm awake,' replied the boy.

'I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier' said the man. 'It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the $25 you asked for..'

The little boy sat straight up, smiling. 'Oh, thank you daddy!' he yelled. Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills.

The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again.

The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father.

'Why do you want more money if you already have some?' the father grumbled.

'Because I didn't have enough, but now I do,' the little boy replied.

'Daddy, I have $50 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.'

The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and he begged for his forgiveness.

It's just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. Do remember to share that $50 worth of your time with someone you love.

If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of hours. But the family & friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives.

anyway.

announcing an offical but amicable split from kezia for divazelle after clearing these last few collections,
then we will launch our collections individually though, but still on the same site of cos.
got to say that it's actually a relief to be on my own,
cos everything's really simpler and no need to account or hesitate.

got some errors here and there, hence took me about 2 hours to complete.
i dont know if it's still workable though,
perhaps its still cached, hopefully when i get home everything will be fine (:

actually thought of going over to baby's house tonight as i need to be at work at 750am.
i've been not able to wake up these few mornings,
or rather, for a whole week already.
i can't hear the alarm at all.
and when i wake up, it's already near 8am or worse, 830am.
so late that i got to take half day urgent leave.
maybe it's snowie,
you know cats, they are nocturnal.
he keep climbing the window, not the one who leads to open air though.
just didnt want it to get used to climbing windows and that it's highly forbidden!
stupid cat. -.-
but on second thoughts,
this cat of mine is quite smart.
when i close the door,
it wil MEOW me to open the door.
if i don't, he will jump & grab the door knob to open!
he didn't succeed our normal doors, but he succeeded in our main door.
>.<
oh, he knows his name too.
but he's stupid to not understand, "come here",
anyway, he's not a dog.
ok, so he's smart after all.
arghhhh

am tired even after awhile at work.
why am i feeling so lethargic.

i need a getaway! =(

went to the IT show on saturday and rolled my eyes at the massive crowd!
so massive till the huge display screened displayed ,
" due to overwhelming crowd at the IT show, please come back in an hour "
reading this, my expression was -.-
and that the security was blocking the escalator.
did they think that got use?
i dont think so.
almost wanted to get a printer but the crowd was so massive that i gave up that thought.

jose & reader: there you go! haha.

See my cat, resting on my fridge -.-!

damn cute please!
took him for injection on thurs!
he's so brave, he only gasped when the vet poked the thermometer into his ass.
then didnt even move an inch when the injection took place.
he, always act a very good boy outside,
once he reached home, he's back to his playful self again.
naughty snowie! LOL.

should i bring him for sterilisation?
my dear and parents said it's cruel, but i've read that it's only for the cats' own good.
if he's not sterilised, he will pee in corners of the house, to attract females?

sleeping in his burberry-prints little house

saw this beautiful rainbow last week!
i stretch any further to take more pics i'll probably have dropped down from the 10th floor.
lol.

oh yeah, read on cozycot for alot of stuffs!
it's really a good forum to share on beauty fashion and crap!
lol. most importantly they gave freebies often!
i just redeem 2 kose white masks with the help of dear too :x

i bought my bobbi brown blemish concealer stick for $41,
recommended by cotters!
and i swear it's really good! the concealer lasts throughout the day!
now i'm on the lookout for foundation, painfully waiting for my ettusais Zero Pore Pact to finish!
am going to try the new Clinique Angelift in june :D
then perhaps buy my YSL primer/make up base & some loose powder tmr :x
expensive yes, but quality is there! weee!
probably i'll get a MAC eyeliner as well.
saw my colleague using it, seems good! $20+ though :/
Ettusais acne concealer isnt very good in my opinion, it's very sheer, and it wears off at mid-day =(
Their powder is sheer too, and the consultant gave me a wrong shade,
have been wearing it sadly these few months, wont be going back.
but their blushers are really good, been the best so far i've used and will stick to it! the blusher stays throughout the day!
i was first introduced to ettusais blushers on my first bday reunion with my 3 besties!
i still remember okays! :D
and i'm still faithfully replenishing it!
good recommendation!

also took a few samples of SK2 from Tangs to try.
due to my oily/combination skin,
the consultant gave me

1. SK2 Treatment Cleanser
2. SK2 Treatment Lotion
3. SK2 Treatment Solution
4. SK2 Facial Treatment Essence

First time using and i can almost see the immediate effect.
it squeezes my blackheads and tighten the skin,
and my acne scars less visible.

Am still contemplating whether to switch to this brand.
cos have heard that the skin may become immune then in future, i will have difficulty finding another one better than SK2
shrugs-

Also also!
Trimmed my hair at Clover Salon, by Raymond at far east plaza.
recommended by cotters too!
very good fella!
will be going to him in future, am so glad i found my perfect stylist.
they are going to change location to the new shopping mall near centrepoint.
WOOTS.
am gonna stick to him!
before entering uni, i'll get a colour dye job done :D
any takers? :D

Divazelle next update:
Monday! 10pm! Support pretty pretty please! :D

OKAY STOP!

that's all for today hehe.
